Meet The Team
DR. DINA OMAR ISMAIL
Founder & CEO
Dr. Dina Omar Phoenix Founder and CEO – a Cardiologist, a Philanthropist, a Health and Social Protection Expert and an Entrepreneur; with over 20 years of experience in Healthcare Management, Healthcare Education and Social Protection.
Dina has assumed several consultancy responsibilities all over the world in the fields of Health Care and Social Protection including being a Social Protection Consultant for organizations like the World Bank, the League of Arab States working on Disability and Social Protection Reforms all over the MENA region including Egypt, KSA, Tunisia and Qatar.
Additionally she was also appointed as a consultant for the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Egyptian Ministry of Planning, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population and the Saudi Ministry of Health among others in countries such as Morocco, Lebanon, Libya and Iraq.
In 2019 she was involved with the WHO and the Egypt Ministry of Health in the first steps of launching the National Health Insurance System in Egypt.
Dr. Dina is also a Partner and Board Member in Linea Group; a UK based consultancy firm that is partnered with the NHS and operating in several industries including Healthcare and Social Sector.
A Philanthropist at heart and to the core Dina is also the proud co-founder and advisor for different NGOs and Non-Profit Foundations all over the world including Misr El Kheir and The Egyptian Foundation for Scientific Research in Egypt among others in Egypt, Lebanon, Luxembourg and Monaco.
Her interest and passion for social work and development has pushed her to start her own Management Consultancy Firm – Phoenix – working closely with different Healthcare Institutions, Social and Civic Society Organizations; with a lifelong goal of maximizing impact and contributing to a paradigm shift in the quality of lives of millions.
NOHA ADEL RAGAB
Head of Project Management
Ms. Noha Adel Head of Project Management at Phoenix is a detail oriented and dedicated Project Management Professional with over 15 years of professional experience; 10 of them in managerial and senior positions in open access publishing, healthcare and social protection sectors.
Noha has received her bachelor degree in commerce and foreign trade and went on to receive various certifications and professional trainings including being certified as a project management professional.
During her work Noha has led several projects in the aforementioned fields and was responsible for the execution and submission of various deliverables, research papers and consultancy documents in several languages for a variety of stakeholders.
In addition to her full time expertise as an Editorial Team Leader and Head of Project Management.
Noha was also responsible for overseeing the delivery of research papers, consultancy and training projects to multilingual and international clients as a part of her consulting work for the World Bank, the League of Arab States, and the Saudi Ministry of Health via KPMG and PwC.
Noha’s vast experience, keen eye and attentiveness to detail has led her to become an organizational asset capable of overseeing the delivery of complex projects and highly technical documents in several languages and catering their delivery to a variety of stakeholders from different backgrounds.
MOHAMED OMAR
Chief Technical Officer
Dr. Mohamed Omar Phoenix Chief Technical Officer is originally a dental and maxillofacial surgeon with a Master’s Degree in Business and pursued several studies in the field of Economics, Business and Management.
Mohamed has over 10 years of experience in the fields of Healthcare and Social Protection and was part of massive reform projects contributing with designing numerous solutions, conceptual models and innovative approaches to tackle the various challenges that face these sectors.
Mohamed is part of the team that co-founded Phoenix and was part of the organization since its conception; and during his work in Phoenix as well as his previous experience he worked with Private, Public and Non-Governmental Organizations all over the world namely Egypt, KSA, Morocco, Lebanon, United Kingdom, Luxembourg and Monaco among others.
Finally, Mohamed is a multidisciplinary, adaptable consultant with the strong ability to learn new concepts quickly enabling him to venture into new territories being highly capable of transforming ideas and utilizing data to come up with applicable models and extracting solutions that are both feasible and measurable.
